Situated 7 miles to the West of Glasgow City Centre, the recently developed 'Ferry Village' riverside development at Braehead is ideally placed between Glasgow Airport and City Centre.

The Opportunity
Prior to entering into administration, Best Braehead Ltd comprised a Joint Venture project by Gladedale (Northern Division) Ltd and Strathclyde Homes Ltd.  Due to the enviable location and the quality of the build, the site was considered to be a flagship development within the Ferry Village.  The sale of the site on behalf of the Joint Administrators, offers an excellent opportunity to completed an attractive development on a fully remediated and serviced site, with the ability to re-commence works quickly and the prospect of initial financial receipts from the completed and partly completed stock.
 
The original total site extended to circa 32 acres or thereby with planning consent in place for 495 units comprising of townhouses, mews, villas and apartments.

Planning
Renfrewshire Council granted Full Planning Permission (06/0171/PP and 06/0159/PP) in 2006 for the erection of residential development, comprising flatted, terraced and detached dwelling units with associated roads, car parking and landscaping costs.
