Our strategy & vision services can help you identify the sustainability risks and opportunities that are particular to your real estate portfolio. We will help you to translate your corporate sustainability strategy into a corporate real estate handbook. We can also help you to embed this through internal employee engagement and training or external stakeholder engagement. We will support you in clearly communicating your strategy using our multi media sustainability reporting & assurance services which produce reporting solutions from concept through to final delivery. Measuring the performance of individual buildings or entire portfolios is the starting point for managing them more sustainably. Our performance measurement & monitoring services provide robust tools to measure the energy, water, waste and transport impacts of your real estate portfolio monthly, quarterly or annually. We can also measure the carbon footprint of individual sites, portfolios, or the entire organisation using our carbon footprinting and accounting services. For UK companies eligible under the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme, our advice ensures compliance with the scheme through robust data validation processes and support in producing evidence packs and annual footprint reports. Finally, our benchmarking services enable you to compare performance of both your owned and leased properties against peers and industry norms, allowing you to identify and prioritise sites for improvement.

Assessment & Certification (read more)
Acquisition, leasing and disposal decisions require occupiers to understand a building’s sustainability profile in order to evaluate the potential impact these may have on overall portfolio performance. We can provide a range of different services, starting with locational risk assessments based on building location, including consideration of flood risk and public transport connectivity. More detailed assessments might include a range of different building energy audits to help inform your capital investment, maintenance, and operational facilities management strategies. We also offer desktop surveys such as pre-acquisition assessments that are tailored to the speed and nature of the transaction process and Sustainable Property Assessments which examine a broader range of environmental and social issues over and above energy use. Finally, we can offer advice on acquiring or developing space certified to international green building certification standards, such as LEED, BREEAM, HQE and DGNB, which align with your brand image.
